Adoption Information

Cats and kittens are available!   All are: 

  • Spayed or neutered
  • Healthy, updated shots
  • On monthly flea control
  •  Tested negative for feline diseases
  • Litter box savvy
  • You will get a copy of their health records!
  • Adoption Agreement and $70 for 1 or $120 for 2!

What does a KittyWits cat have that the others don’t?  Compare and Save! 

  1. All are tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) plus FIV (if old enough)
  2. All spayed or neutered before being offered for adoption
  3. Have at least their 1st shots – PRC (aka by several names 3:1, FVRCP, Upper Respiratory & Distemper) AND FeLV.   Adult cats have been given their Rabies shot. 
  4.  If the cats are in our care longer, they will be given the full series of shots appropriate for their age. 
  5. On monthly flea protection
  6. Checked for ear mites and treated if needed.
  7. Have been given a dewormer and as a precaution, intestinal parasite medicine.
  8. All cared for in a home setting and caged only when ill or at adoption events.   This allows us to observe the cats’ behavior and personality to better match them with the right person.
  9. You receive a copy of all their known history, shot records and spay/neuter and Rabies certificates.
  10. We keep our “KittyWitsers” for as long as it takes to find the right home.

A brief adoption interview and signed agreement are necessary.  Renters should bring a copy of their rental agreement and pet deposit receipt.
