So now you know a bit about KittyWits, here are some stats that hopefully will impress you….

• Each month over 3000 animals are surrendered to the 3 major shelters in Sacramento ~ City, County & SPCA
•  Nearly half of all surrendered animals are put to sleep due to illness or no room.
• In 2008, KittyWits transported 211 cats to get spayed or neutered at very low cost clinics available to everyone.
• In 2009 KittyWits transported 208 female and 175 male cats to be spayed or neutered at low cost clinics.  That’s a grand total of 383 for the year!
• In 2010 KittyWits transported 184 Females and 156 Males to be spayed/neutered!  Thats 340 more non-reproducing cats in the Sacramento area!
• In April 2011 we crossed the 1000 cat mark for spay/neuter transports!
• As of October 2, 119 Females and 89 Male Cats were transported to be spayed/neutered.
• In 2008 KittyWits helped 65 cats and 1 dog find the right home.
• In 2009, KittyWits helped 90 cats find the right home.
• In 2010, KittyWits helped 35 cats find the right home.
• So far in 2011, KittyWits has helped 14 cats find the right home
• KittyWits currently has 6 cats ready for adoption.    Five males born May 2011 and Lovey is 5 years old
